Thats in Cambridge isn't it ? I'm off work Friday so off out on tour of a few tunnels as couldn't get out at all last weekend. Drove up to Torpantau last Saturday but there was a gang of wannabee soldiers messing around up there so just left it. Might try for 3 or 4 places close together. |

Yup, it's up around Cambridge. I'm working at a power station up there for a couple of weeks, ripping out one transformer and replacing it with a new one. Well, my few days off didn't go as planned but that's nothing new. Did you go tunneling? ---------------------- |

I did but same shoote, different shovel as they say. The plan was Pennar - Clydach Twins - Gelli-fechen - Torpantau. Got to Pennar and found the East portal. Could see the West portal from East. Problem was, no access at all from East portal. BRB high gates and couldn't work out where the West portal was (have done since on GoogEarth) so no could do. Headed to Clydach Gorge. No problems at Gelli-fechen, got in walked the new bore, took a few pics and then walked the old bore. Headed down to the Twins but it started to p**s rain on the way. Got access but was soaked and miserable at that stage basically so didn't walk Clydach Old just came home. Torpantau was off at that stage. Wasn't a great day but still got today I suppose !! |

I'm just confused about my work. Normally we are quiet at this time of year and I can get out but so far we're still busy. Off back to Little Barford on Sunday for a few days and then maybe Rhyl. Following week Barry, RyeHouse and Coryton. Oh well, shouldn't complain, gets me away from the wife

Hope you had a better day than me. My server was upgraded with the latest version of PHP last night. Woke up to find the wifes online shop had gone tits up. Just spent 6 hours trying to sort it out. At least this site, running forum software I wrote, just needed 2 files updating. That's the difference between software written by someone else and software you write yourself.
Hmmm....just thought, I haven't checked the contact form software
